Your health is your wealth

I seen my grandma deal with so many health struggles and I feel so bad. I wish I can take away the pain. She always in and out of the hospital dealing with stomach pain. She goes to so many doctor appointments. The doctors can’t figure it out but always so quick to put her on a new medications.

We are given one body and one life. We need to take care of it. If not, it will catch up to you. I remember eating whatever I want in my 20s and not gained any weight and still can run around. As I age, I can’t even stomach some of the fast food places and feel so sluggish afterwards. I can’t believe I thought it use to taste good. Do you want to live your life in doctor appointments, laid in the hospital or using all your money to pay for prescriptions? The answer is no but are you living a healthy lifestyle so that you don’t have to depend on prescriptions.

In this day of age, people are cooking less and eating so much processed foods and our bodies don’t even know what to do with it. We are so quick to go through the drive through and eat a $2.00 burger and fries and don’t even think about what it is doing to our body.  We are drinking way too many sugary drink and soda.

Your health is your wealth, as long as you got it you can follow your purpose in life. You need your body for everything you love to do. There only one you.

Few tips you can do to add to your life to promote healthy living.

  1. Drink More water. Your body is made up of 65% of water. It so good for you. It flushes out toxins and keeps you hydrated. Your skin needs it. You can add fruit into your water to add flavor to your water. Start small and then add more glasses into your day.
  2. Add more leafy greens into your diet. A lot of us are not eating a lot of vegetables
  3. Walk, Start walking at least 15 min.
